Every year since 1996, students of the School for Garden and Landscape Architecture in Rheinland-Pfalz (Germany), in cooperation with the OAC, work on a natural stone pathway in harmony with the natural environment. Their work, which includes mosaic floors, paths and walls, is inspired by Biblical motives and Holy symbols of the Christian Tradition. The result of this work can be enjoyed by OAC’s Conference participants, visitors and students as everybody is welcome to walk in the nature to admire the art of stone carving, to observe the plants, to view the OAC’s Photovoltaic Installation that silently and without generating pollutants generates electricity, and to gaze at the great view of the Cretan Sea.
