Donation of Educational Equipment to the Kolympari Elementary School

     On Friday 3 November 2017, at a special ceremony at the Kolympari Elementary School, the OAC made a donation for the purchase of a new photocopy machine for the needs of students, teachers and the school educational community in general, continuing its close cooperation with the schools in the local area.

     The General Director of the OAC, Dr Konstantinos Zorbas, underlined the importance of recognising the work done by teachers in difficult conditions, and he stressed that "the situation as it has developed over recent years in our country undoubtedly makes it difficult for you to do your job. Economic instability, uncertainty about the future, social difficulties, are reflected in your school life as well as in your personal lives. However, we can see how growing adversities, restrictions on opportunities, as well as shortages of material supplies, have over these years also shone a light on the great resilience of our educational community and their dedication to our children".

     Mrs Fani Boubonari, Principal of the Kolympari Elementary School, thanked the General Director of the OAC for the quick response and support, as well as for the contribution to the educational community in the region in general, and expressed her hopes that the creative collaboration they have enjoyed so far with the OAC would continue.
